I am lacing up my sneakers soon to participate in a NIKE sponsored event. This event raises money for me and my teammates to travel to upcoming NIKE events to help support and represent Maine against our countries finest Basketball players.

About this fundraiser:

This 7th grade AAU team is Maines’ first ever, and only Nike sponsored basketball team at any level. They have been invited to travel the country and play basketball against some of our countries best ballers. These boys work day and night to compete at the highest level and have committed themselves to this awesome game. BlueWave Elite is coached by Maine Basketball Hall of Famer Andy Bedard. Andy, is as good of a coach on the court as he was being a player back in the foothills of Rumford Maine and at Boston College and UMaine. Kelly Flagg, Bluewaves assistant coach, is also incredible at her job and she has transitioned from a former Division 1 player at UMAINE to a coach for this team. The Bluewave team has been hand picked to play together and function more as a family which transitions to the court as a cohesive team. These boys need your help and support to travel long and far to such locations as Maryland and Pennsylvania in the upcoming weeks. The Bluewave Team consists of Kaden Bedard, Leo McNabb, Creighty Dickson, Sammy Nzeyimana, Cooper Flagg, Ace Flagg and Dawson Townsend . For any of you die hard sports fans, or community members looking to support kids who are amazing on and off the court these are the boys to invest in. You will be able to track and watch them for years to come. If you have not had the pleasure of watching them yet... please do, as these Maine boys are showing everyone how the game of ball can be played.
