Dear Friends and Family,

I am putting on my cleats and hitting for the fences in my community's upcoming Hit-A-Thon. This event raises money for our local Veterans of Foreign Wars as well as protective equipment and concussion programs for a local football league. This event will help ensure that NO child will be unable to play due to their inability to pay and that we will continue to have safe equipment. It will also help our local veterans be able to have the things and care they need.

I would appreciate it and so would all the veterans we plan to help if you could help support me.

About this fundraiser:

Tri-County Sharks is a youth football league who serves the youth in the counties of Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito. This year our theme is "Giving Back". Not only to our community but to organizations that mean a lot to us.

Our first annual Hit-A-Thon will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Our veterans have sacrificed a lot to make sure we have the freedom to play sports. Some of the things this organization does is to offer youth scholarships to children on veterans as well as various support to veterans and their families for care and unmet needs.

This event is open to ALL children in our communities. We encourage teams (6 or more) to sign up for a chance at team prizes as well as individual prizes.
