I am lacing up my cleats, oiling my glove, and practicing my home run swing because this month I'll be helping my baseball team with our annual Hit-a-thon! This event raises money for me and my teammates to continue to have the best equipment and fields to play the game we love.

Churchill Babe Ruth is a division of Willamette Valley Babe Ruth and is the most competitive youth baseball association in Lane County. Our mission is to grow the strength, abilities and integrity of our young athletes. We hope to improve each child both physically and mentally while competing together as a team. Our baseball program requires good sportsmanship, skill and a charitable attitude from all our players. Fundraising helps pay for the costs of field maintenance, equipment (uniforms, pitching machines, baseballs, etc.) and scholarships for those in need.
