Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my cleats and stepping up to the plate this month to swing big for the Federal Way National Little League Hit-a-thon. This event raises money for me and my teammates to continue to compete on safe and beautiful fields in Federal Way.

I would appreciate it (and so would my 400+ Federal Way baseball/softball players) if you could help support me.

P.S. All the money we raise will go straight to benefiting the kids in Federal Way playing Little League as they are 100% volunteer run.

About this fundraiser:

Our Federal Way National Little League (FWNLL) is celebrating our 62nd year of providing over 450 boys and girls in our community from the age of 5 through 16 to play little league baseball and softball.

You may know that FWNLL is pretty special in that the league owns its own ball fields. This gives us a great facility and control over where our games are played. (staying local!!) The quality of the complex is such that FWNLL routinely hosts three or more District 10 All-Star tournaments every year! Of course, this comes with some responsibilities.

Costs and Revenue:
From a cost perspective, our average cost to run the league is about $250 per child. We collect less than half of that in player fees and often support families with scholarships so that we may include every child who wants to play ball the ability to play.

The difference is made up with revenue from concessions, parking lot rentals, company sponsorships and this sole Fundraiser, our Hit-a-thon. Your support goes directly to field improvements, uniforms and equipment.
