Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers next month and walking/running my best at the Brooklyn Arbor School Walk-a-Thon on October 16th in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This event raises money for my school to maintain a safe and clean playground for us to run around in and recess enhancement coaches who help organize games that decreases conflict and increases self esteem, safety, and fun.

I would appreciate it (and so would my 550+ schoolmates) if you could help support me. Any tiny amount helps us!

THE WALKATHON DATE IS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16, 10am-1pm!

The Brooklyn Arbor Walk-a-thon on Sunday, October 16th is our fifth walkathon at our school! In 2019 we raised approximately $14,000 (post-fees) for the Recess Enhancement.

This year the funds are being directed to support recess enhancement with Kids in the Game!

Brooklyn Arbor (PS 414) is a vibrant magnet school with a focus on global studies and the environment. We are a public school in bustling South Williamsburg, Brooklyn that truly serves its diverse community. The teachers at Brooklyn Arbor are energetic, fun, creative, and our administration is incredibly supportive of our families, organized and visionary. In addition to learning mastery of the basics, our school community works hard to provide numerous enrichment opportunities for our students, from field trips to end of the year celebrations, after school programs, keeping the library in circulation, gardening, and much, much more. The Parent Association fundraises for all these enrichment programs as well as overall building maintenance, the student financial assistance fund, greening our school, and more!
