Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers next month and running my best at the Riverwalk Academy Fun Run. This event raises money for me and my classmates to have additional outdoor space. Our school needs a multi-purpose court for physical activities and the Fun Run will help us raise the money for a court.

I would appreciate it (and so would my 619 schoolmates) if you could help support me.

About this fundraiser:

Our gifted and talented class has been working on a project-based learning opportunity to help our school community. Our driving question has been, “How can our voices and actions inspire others to help our school community?” Through our project we have determined that our school community needed more outdoor space for physical activity and learning opportunities. We have been researching building a multi-purpose court and have been raising funds so we can bring our vision to life.

On Friday, May 12th we will be hosting a Fun Run Event at our school to continue our fundraising efforts. We hope you can help us reach our goal. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference in our project. We thank you for your participation and support of our Fun Run event!
