Dear Friends and Family,

I am joining the Westerly Pee Wee Family this year and I'm asking for your support. We are participating in a fundraiser designed to keep the program affordable and accessible while allowing for all necessary costs to be met without issue. Any money raised through this fundraiser will contribute to the maintenance and purchasing of safety equipment, field maintenance and upkeep, and general costs associated with the management of our field and program.

I have a goal to reach of $200.00 and anything you can offer helps get me closer to that goal.

About this fundraiser:

Since 1964, the Westerly Pee Wee program has excelled at cultivating athletes as well as facilitating their development on and off the field. Our coaches, athletes, and parents dedicate priceless time and energy to the program and its mission. We strive to keep our registration fees affordable so that this program can be accessible to all but, while we are lucky enough to have a field of our very own, this comes with additional costs.

This year, those costs are significantly higher than usual. In the off-season, we experienced multiple burst pipes in the concession stand which resulted in an astronomic water bill of $4,000+ as well as the additional cost of demolishing and replacing the ceiling on the majority of the first floor. We are also making strides to improve the equipment provided to our athletes which includes new uniforms for our mini cheerleading team and updated safety equipment.

Our 2025 Pledge Fundraiser will be primarily used to offset the costs of the repairs to the stand. Any remaining donations will be allocated towards the cost of upgraded equipment and uniforms for our athletes this year as well as financial support for families who may not be able to afford our registration fees. Any amount that you can donate helps us to continue operating as we typically do despite the unanticipated repair work and associated costs we have this year.
