Help spread the word

Dear Friends and Family,
I am lacing up my sneakers and jogging my best at the First Annual Turkey Trot! We are trying to raise money for iPads and awesome gym equipment. If we exceed our goal (fingers crossed!) the PTA will use the money, as always,to fund other needed school events and supplies.
I would appreciate it if you could help support me and my fellow classmates. We will be gobble, gobble, grateful!
PTA 97Q is an accredited 501(c)(3) and donations are eligible for tax deduction.
Thanks in advance!
About this fundraiser:
PS 97 Forest Park is a school where student learning thrives and children feel good about the place they call their school. Students know that it is important to work together as a team and what better way to be a team then to "Turkey Trot".
We are getting dressed in our best turkey gear and fastest kicks to raise money for our school. We thought it would be great to host a school-wide fundraising event where the students could have a good time, exercise, and raise funds all at once, with our primary goal being the purchase of technology for all students as well as some awesome new gym equipment!
The P.S. 97 Turkey Trot is on November 20, 2017.
This event will be taking place during the regular school day and all students will participate regardless of their fundraising efforts.
The classes will run or walk laps in 20 minute intervals. Prizes will be given for dressing with Thanksgiving spirit, for most laps run, and the grand prize for the student who raises the most funds will be a basket of delicious goodies and all the fixings for Thanksgiving dinner.
The day of the event will be a dress down day in fall colors with athletic sneakers and Thanksgiving accessories. We encourage you to get silly!
We thank you for your participation and generous donations. Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support are both truly appreciated.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Mr. Kessler & Ms. Stuart
