I am lining up my books to read for the Elder Wisdom Circle Readathon Our theme "Why We Read" celebrates the importance of gaining wisdom and knowledge needed to provide caring, nonjudgemental, culturally-sensitive advice. This event raises money for supporting my work with advice-seekers from around the world and right in our own neighborhood.

I would appreciate it (and so would my fellow 100 Elders) if you could help support me in this Readathon.

About this fundraiser:

This fundraiser, which began on March 20th and ends on April 29, 2023, is an opportunity to raise money for Elder Wisdom Circle. Participants will read books during this time and request either flat donations or donations based on the number of books read, from family and friends. Everyone is welcome to participate, including family, friends, colleagues, etc.!

All are welcome to participate, and if you are an avid reader, this is the perfect fundraiser for you. Your support will help us cover the cost of each letter an Elder writes to an advice-seeker.

The ElderWisdomCircle™ (EWC) is an online inter-generational program pairing advice seekers with a network of older adults (“Elders”) who provide empathetic, caring, and supportive advice based on their own life experiences.

Elders answer advice letters through the organization's website, offering readers of younger generations free, personal advice on a wide range of topics—love and relationships, family and child-rearing, career and self-improvement, and much more.
