Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers and have my water bottle and my snacks ready. I'm excited to be a part of my Rotary Club's Hike-a-Thon because I want to get off my couch and do something good for others. This eight-hike marathon raises money to help people in my city, and make our blue planet a better and happier place for all.

I'm asking you to be my sponsor and pledge anything between $3 and $10 per mile I hike, or make a simple flat donation. Every dollar helps. 100% of all raised funds will benefit Escondido non-profits.

Thank you for your generosity, encouragement and support!

About this fundraiser:

"...to whom much is given; from them more is required" (Luke 12:48)

Escondido Rotary Foundation gives away 30,000 to 40,000 dollars in grants to organizations like Meals-On-Wheels, Salvation Army's food bank, Interfaith Community Services, and other local non-profits that provide essential services to those in need. By doing that we change lives, put smiles on people's faces, and deliver food to financially challenged families in Escondido.

Everyone is welcome to join us! Hike along for a great cause. You can register by clicking on the "add participant" link at the bottom of the page (after the list of participants).
