Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers this month and running my best at MCS Pride PTA's 3rd Annual Turkey Trot!

This fundraiser will help my school's PTA put on family events for my classmates and me, for teacher appreciation meals (because teachers rule!) and to help pay for things like field trips, field day supplies, and more.

MCS Pride PTA works on behalf of two amazing schools: MCS (Margaret Chase Smith) Elementary + SPE (Sanford Pride Elementary). The PTA supports incredible students, their families, and awesome staff who believe that relationships with students are key to optimal learning.

MCS Pride PTA is a nonprofit that operates solely on volunteers and donations from their community. Funding allows them to put on fun and free (or low cost) events like their Halloween Trick-or-Treat events and movie nights, sponsor field trips, and provide supplemental materials for school activities like field day or the Spring Carnival. It also allows them to boost morale for children and teachers through kindness projects and treats, as well as providing extra supplies to both schools throughout the year when in need.
