Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers and getting ready to do my best at the Harrisburg Elementary School Jog-A-Thon! This event raises money for classroom field trips and updated technology for our school.

I would appreciate it (and so would my 400 schoolmates) if you could help support me.

About this fundraiser:

Our principal, Mr. Bruns, roped Mr. McGowan into challenging the students.. He said that if we can reach our fundraising goal of $3,000, then Mr. Bruns and Mr. McGowan will have to wear silly costumes all day at school!

Mr. McGowan agreed, but then challenged Mr. Bruns and the students further.. He said if we can reach the larger goal of $4,000, Mr. Bruns will have to wear UofO Duck gear for an additional full day of school (and he is an Oregon State Beaver!)

If we can reach our ultimate goal of $5,000, then the students will get to come up with some ideas and get to vote on something even bigger!

The most laps and highest donations will earn additional individual and classroom prizes!
