Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers and running in the Jefferson Elementary Race for Education! This event raises money for all Jefferson field trips, a cost of about $10,000 annually.

On Friday May 9th, I will have the opportunity to run on the Emmaus High School track. I will be running as many laps as I can. I would appreciate it if you could help cheer me on and donate to this cause. The class with the highest donation total will receive a prize, and every student will get the great experience of going on annual field trips at Jefferson.

About this fundraiser:

Jefferson Elementary hosts a fun run each spring at the Emmaus High School track. This year the event is on Friday, May 9th. It is a great opportunity to get outdoors and have some fun! Families are encouraged to come cheer on their racers from the stands or join on the track for a few laps.

KDG & 1st Grade: 9:45 A.M. - 10:15 A.M
2nd & 3rd Grade: 10:30 A.M. - 11:15 A.M
4th & 5th Grade: 11:30 A.M. - 12:15 P.M

Prizes will go to top runners in every grade, and to the top fundraising homeroom in the building!

The proceeds from the Fun Run allow the PTC to pay for ALL field trips at Jefferson, totaling $10,000 each year.

Jefferson is unique in our commitment to giving each grade a real field trip out of the building. It is a much appreciated experience by all the kids. Please help keep this tradition alive by donating any amount you are able. Thank you so much!
