Help spread the word
Dear Friends and Family,
Daisy's school's 2024 Read-a-thon has begun! This year is especially meaningful as Daisy was recently diagnosed with severe dyslexia. While this will be a life long challenge for Daisy, we know her love of learning and exuberant enthusiasm to try new and difficult things will carry her anywhere she she wants to go in this life!
Daisy was actually very happy to learn she is dyslexic, as the diagnosis explains why academics have been so challenging for her. We have started weekly library visits to discover new books and read to actual real life dogs!! She is still building up the courage to read out loud (Mom is reading to the dogs for now). We are so proud of her.
The Read-a-thon raises money for classes like Science, Art, Music, Library, P.E., and other programs.
Any amount at all will be greatly appreciated, and all donors will receive an original Daisy artwork! "Tim the Cat, age 7, and his fishy ice cream cone" featured above :)
Thanks for considering!
About this fundraiser:

In addition to KEF’s main academic programs below, it also provides financial resources, supplemental classroom supplies and additional teacher support to help the school mitigate the impact of changes to academic funding at the state and district level.
