Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my cleats, setting up my shoulder pads and helmet, and conditioning my body to gear up for this year's (2024) youth tackle football season as a Lanier Longhorn here in Gwinnett County, Georgia. This fundraiser raises money for my teammates and I to participate in additional events to enhance our knowledge and abilities as young football athletes, attend a formal awards banquet at the conclusion of the season, and attend a celebration/fun day for all the hard work put in during the season.

About this fundraiser:

We are the Lanier Athletic Association's 8U Boys Football Team!!! We pride ourselves in being family oriented team bringing discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun to tackle football here in Gwinnett County, Georgia. We have 22 players and a staff of 5 coaches and a team mom.

We are trying to raise $10,000 during this tackle season to fund an end of year party/fun day, a formal end of the year awards banquet, a trip to a local college football game (either University of Georgia or Georgia Institute of Technology) and possibly one trip to see the Atlanta Falcons play in the Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Other events planned include pep rallies, homecoming parade participation, tailgating at Lanier High School home football games. Funding will also be used to purchase spirit wear outside the game-day uniform received with registration fees.
