Help spread the word

Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you for visiting my page. I am participating in my team's 1st Annual Punt, Pass, and Kick to raise money for uniforms, training equipment, and other items which make our football program excellent.
I'm excited because for every $40 I raise I will get one attempt at punting, passing, and kicking during the competition (with a max of 5 attempts per event). Prizes will be given for the most funds raised, total distance in each category, and total distance for all categories combined. I'm asking for sponsors to help me reach my fundraising goal. Will you help by making a simple flat donation?
Thank you for all of your support and encouragement!
About this fundraiser:
ABOUT THIS FUNDRAISER:
Our kids learn as much off the field as they do on the field. We believe this is because of the incredible players, the awesome coaches and more importantly the incredible support from our families and community. Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support of our players is truly appreciated. We look forward to an amazing season and thanks again!

ABOUT THE LA MIRADA JR. PEE WEE MATADORES:
The La Mirada Jr. Pee Wee Matadores are a youth football team, comprised of 10 and 11 year olds and is part of the La Mirada chapter of Pop Warner, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. This team was undefeated last year and “Super Bowl” champions; the majority of the coaches and players have been together now for 4+ years. The emphasis of the team is to provide a positive youth football program for the children in our community and to support the values of amateur sports: teamwork, friendship, healthy competition and sportsmanship. As a non-profit, we are asking for your support to help us provide this experience to the players of the La Mirada community.
WHY ARE WE RAISING MONEY FOR THE TEAM?
This Punt, Pass, and Kick event raises a significant portion of the annual budget for the team. We are fortunate to have extremely low registration fees, especially when compared to other youth sports organizations. Additionally, we have dedicated VOLUNTEER coaches and no paid staff on this team, 100% of the expenses go to our youth participants. Some of this year’s expenses include uniforms, equipment, and much more.
HOW DOES THE PUNT, PASS, AND KICK WORK?
Each player solicits sponsors who pledge to make a tax-deductible donation. For every $40 each player raises they will get one attempt at punting, passing, and kicking during the competition (with a max of 5 attempts per event). The distance of all attempts are added up and totaled for the player’s score. Prizes will be given for the most funds raised, total distance in each category, and total distance for all categories combined.
HOW CAN PEOPLE PAY?
To make collecting payments as easy as possible, the team has created our website with 99 Pledges for secure payments. This limits the time you would need to go back and collect funds from supporters. If someone prefers to send a check or pay by cash, their preferred player can collect those funds and document it on their personal form.
Please make checks payable to:

*** NOTE***: For checks please note the following in the memo section – “JPW PPK – SOTO”
DO THE PLAYERS ACTUALLY ENJOY THE PUNT, PASS, AND KICK?
This will be one of the may highlights of the football season. Kids enjoy competition, earning prizes, seeing who has the longest punt, pass, and kick, and the event provides a good “team building” break during the season. This year the team will have the event on Sunday, August 7, 2016.
WHAT IS OUR GOAL?
The more players who participate, the better for the La Mirada Jr. Pee Wee Matadores and the more fun we all have! We are trying to raise $200 per player, which would equal close to $4,500.
HOW DO I GET THE WORD OUT TO RAISE MORE MONEY EASILY?
Players will receive a link to their personal page on 99 Pledges which they simply share via email and social networks.
