Dear Friends and Family,

I am stepping into the batter's box on Saturday, May 17th in our 7th annual Littleton Youth Baseball & Softball "Hit-A-Thon!" This annual event raises money for me and the rest of the league to add great new amenities like field lights, scoreboards, new equipment, as well as support our future fun events.

I would appreciate it (and so would my 230+ league-mates) if you could help support us.

Thanks in advance for your support!

About this fundraiser:

The annual Littleton Youth Baseball & Softball (LYBS) Hit-a-Thon is back! This year marks our 7th annual fundraiser, and we have exciting news!

Event Date: Saturday, May 17, 2025
(Rain Date): Sunday, May 18, 2025

We are very happy to announce that LYBS is undertaking a number of projects to make improvements to various fields in town, highlighted by a project to install lights at Jet Softball Field in the summer of 2025!

The league is also contributing to a project scheduled for later this year to make major enhancements to the Whitcomb Baseball Field (full-sized diamond located adjacent to Russell Street Elementary), as well as various improvements this year to the fields at Shaker Lane and Shattuck Street!

Without your support, none of these projects would be possible. On behalf of every volunteer, coach, parent, guardian, and sponsor, we cannot thank you enough for your past and future contributions. Our community has been tremendous in supporting our baseball and softball program. With your support, we can ensure a safe, fun, and exciting experience for years to come!

All money raised through the Hit-a-Thon goes directly back into the baseball and softball program. We rely on the generous contributions of our volunteers, families, and sponsors to make all that we do possible.

Our players may ask – what’s in it for me? In recognition of their efforts, we’re offering our participants chances to win prizes as a reward for raising the most funds or simply hitting designated targets in the field with any of their swings. This year, we have some awesome prizes:

***Most Money Raised by a Team (1 winner league wide)***
- End of season team party at TeamWorks in Acton, MA

**Most Money Raised by a Player (1 winner each baseball & softball)**
- $250 gift card Dick's Sporting Goods

Furthest ball hit during Hit-a-Thon (1 winner from each baseball & softball division) = $25 gift card Dick's Sporting Goods

Batted ball during Hit-a-Thon that lands inside a hula hoop (each hitter is eligible to receive one gift card) = $25 gift card Dick's Sporting Goods

Each player who raises at least one donation will receive a $5 gift card to Menchie's in Littleton!

Littleton Youth Baseball & Softball (“LYBS”) is a registered non-profit 501(c)3 organization operating a recreational youth baseball and softball league in the Town of Littleton, Massachusetts.

Our league is 100% operated by volunteers, including all of the officers, Board of Directors, and coaches. The youth participating in our programs range from pre-kindergarten to high school. We strive to ensure that, above all else, the kids have fun, develop their skills in the games of baseball or softball, and are enabled/empowered to become great teammates and leaders.
