Dear Friends and Family,
I am getting ready to boogie down in September and give my best at Mangini Ranch Elementary’s 2nd annual Dance-A-Thon. This event raises money for events and programs, as well as field trips, assemblies, and more to support my learning experience.
I am asking for sponsors to help me reach my fundraising goal. Will you help by making a pledge per minute danced or a simple flat donation? All donations go directly back to the school.

About this fundraiser:
Mangini Ranch Elementary PTA is hosting our 2nd Annual Dance-a-thon for students, teachers, and staff on September 19 & 20. This event raises money for events and programs, as well as field trips, and more. Help us enhance the learning experience and resources at Mangini Ranch Elementary!
If we raise at least $30k Mr. Peterson will be getting slimed!

What is our goal?
We hope to raise $45,000 to support our school and provide educational and enrichment opportunities for our students!
What are we raising funds for?
These funds will provide fun events for the whole family, assemblies at school, field trips, art, gardening, and wellness programs, plus many more enriching activities to make their elementary school experience a memorable one!

8/16 Dance-a-Thon Fundraiser starts!
9/19 Dance-a-Thon for Tk to 2nd grade
9/20 Dance-a-Thon for 3rd to 5th grade
Can I track my donations online?
YES! Visit https://app.99pledges.com/fund/MRE24 if your child does not have a pledge/donation page set up follow these instructions:
Go to the website: http//app.99pledges.com/fund/MRE24
Scroll to the bottom of the page where it says "add participant."
Enter student's name and parent's email.
Select "add."
Your child's personal pledge/donation page will be created!
What prizes can I win?
1st place: Class Ice Cream Party
2nd place: Class Pizza Party
3rd Place: Class Popcorn Party
Top Student in each grade level will win a limo ride to lunch at In N and Out pending their parents permission.
Can we come watch our kiddos?
Unfortunately no. The Dance-a-thon will be held during school hours this year. However, the PTA does need volunteers to help facilitate! If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and helping out please reach out to ManginiRanchElementaryPTA@gmail.com for more details on how to get involved.
What exactly is a Dance-a-Thon?
On Thursday 9/19 TK-2nd grade students will participate in the Dance-a-thon. Students in TK and Kinder will dance together first for up to 30 min in the multipurpose room. Followed by 1st grade students, and lastly 2nd grade students. They will not be dancing alone, they will be dancing with all the students in their grade level. It is very casual, fun, and low-pressure. We will have music, balloons and decorations, fun lighting, and refreshments for them. After 30 min they will go back to class. Then on Friday 9/20 3rd-5th grade students will do the same.
What if my child does not want to participate in the Dance-a-Thon?
If a child does not want to dance during the dance-a-thon we will have chairs available and they can sit and watch. However, this will be a very fun event and I predict that most kids will be dancing- I am hoping once they see all their friends having fun
they will want to join in too.
What are the shirts for?
Every student at Mangini Ranch will receive a Dance-a-thon shirt whether or not they choose to participate or raise funds. This year we are asking every parent to order a shirt for their child for $5 and PTA will cover the rest.
On the day of their Dance-a-thon we would like students to wear their Dance-a-thon shirt. So tk-2nd graders will wear their shirts on Thursday 9/19 and 3rd-5th graders will wear their shirts on Friday 9/20. The week leading up to the Dance-a-Thon we will have Spirit week to get everyone excited for the event! Be on the lookout for more information regarding that soon!
