Dear Friends and Family,

This month I'm doing my best at my school's Read-a-Thon Fundraiser. This event raises money for me and my classmates to continue to be enriched with social and emotional activities. I am focusing on reading instead of selling a product.

I'm asking for sponsors to help me reach my fundraising goal. Giving is just not about making a donation, its about making a difference!

About this fundraiser:

One space that we can all come together at North is through our love of READING! Once again we are pairing our school's love of reading to promote our children's well being while giving back to the school. We are asking that every child engage in reading for this effort.

If every child raised our minimal goal of $25 we could benefit our school in an enormous gesture of $10,000.

This event will benefit North students in many ways: they will exercise their minds and improve their reading skills, fund programs for our students, and make our school events more affordable for our families.

Please remember, no amount is too small. As always we appreciate your support. Please invite your friends and family to support your child's reading goals! We need all of you to support our efforts and children to continue to offer the wonderful services we provide!

PRIZES (To be picked up March 22nd after school)
$25+ raised receives an ice cream treat & a keychain!
$50+ raised receives an ice cream treat, a keychain, & a pizza kit!
Top 5 earning students will receive an ice cream treat, a keychain, pizza kit, AND GET TO BE PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY!

CLASSROOM AND SCHOOL PRIZES:
Top 2 earning classes= Pizza Party!
Top 2 classes with highest participation= Pizza Party!
Hit our $10,000 school goal = all classes get an extra recess!
