I care deeply for those who reside in my town of Walla Walla, especially those in need! Walla Walla has needed a safe place for women overcoming substance use disorder to live as they work toward long-term recovery. Luckily, there is now a home and organization that fills this need! Hope Street of Walla Walla is dedicated to providing safe, affordable sober living for women recovering from substance use disorder and encouraging long-term recovery. Having lost friends struggling with substance use disorder, I know Hope Street would have been a Godsend for them. Hope Street provides a place of safety and accountability, where residents don't feel alienated. All those at Hope Street are set up to succeed in seeking long-term recovery. I am raising funds to support the continued operation of Hope Street, I will continue to raise awareness and raise funds by running a marathon in May with Hope Street proudly sported on my running singlet.
