Dear Friends and Family,

I am participating in the 2021 Hit-A-Thon and Skills Challenge for Seaview Little League. The money raised will be used to fund upgrades to the Seaview facilities. Although the target for each player is $75, me and my teammates are trying to raise a lot more for a chance to win some great prizes (including baseball equipment, gift certificates, camp scholarships and more).

Pledges can be based on either my number of hits (a minimum of 7 or maximum of 10 will be counted) or you can designate a specific amount to give. We’re shooting for high participation, so please know that no amount is too small!

After a long year off, Spring 2021 baseball at Seaview Little League is alive and well! Today we start our regular season play in the upper divisions, and games continue in the lower divisions. In addition, Seaview’s Hit-a-Thon and Skills Challenge also has arrived!

The Hit-a-Thon and Skills Challenge is Seaview's biggest fundraiser of the year. The money raised is pumped directly back into the league in the form of improvements to our fields and procurement of quality equipment our players. Funds raised from past events have allowed Seaview to install batting cages, add shade screens to dugouts, purchase new player's equipment, erect new score booths on 3 fields, improve fencing and much more. This year will be no different, the league his in the process of upgrading our infields and is looking to outfit our new snack bar.

Fundraising opens today, and our event will be held on May 22. In addition to to the baseball activities on the field, we will have food & coffee trucks, dunk tanks for the kids to soak managers/coaches, and a day full of baseball activities to keep our families busy. Additionally, we have a great prize structure for the kids that includes tickets to amusement parks, paint ball day passes, baseball camp scholarships and more! And the top overall fundraising team will win a nerf gun team party!

About Seaview: Seaview is a community focused little league open to residents of south Huntington Beach. Its focus is on providing a safe, enjoyable and competitive baseball environment to all children with an interest in baseball. Through its coaches and volunteers, it aims to instill the importance of team work and hard work into our youth as well as the importance of community.
