Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you for visiting my page. I am participating in Meters For Heaters 2022 at the AWCI Aquatics Center in Sparta, NC.

On February 19, 2022, for every meter I swim, kick, or walk in the lap or therapy pool, I'll be raising funds to help keep the pools heated through the winter months - when it is most important for the facility to be open!

Will you help by making a pledge per meter or by making a simple flat donation?

About this fundraiser:

We're raising money to keep the indoor pools heated through the winter months!

Meters For Heaters is an annual pledge-based participatory fundraiser for the Aquatics facilities at Alleghany Wellness Center (AWCI) in Sparta, North Carolina.

We’re calling it an “aquathon.” If you can get in the lap pool or therapy pool and move around (swim, kickboard, walk), you can participate in the aquathon and raise money-per-meter moved to help support AWCI Aquatics operations.

The aquathon is kicking off on February 19, 2022 and runs through pool closing time on March 12, 2022. Participants can log their meters anytime during this three week period.
