Dear Friends and Family,

I've been working on my swing and am getting ready to hit some balls at this years Hit-A-Thon. All proceeds go towards my Little League and giving kids like me an opportunity to play ball!
I'm asking for sponsors to help me reach my fundraising goal. Will you help by making a pledge per hit or by making a simple flat donation?

About this fundraiser:

Our Hit-A-Thon raises an important portion of the annual budget of the league. Without the Hit-A- Thon, registration fees would be significantly higher (we have one of the lowest fees in the area). The Hit-A-Thon allows the league to improve each year by helping fund our coaches clinics, provide equipment, upkeep of our facilities and fields, as well as additional field rentals through Portland Parks and Recreations.

On top of our normal fundraising needs we will be putting a portion of all proceeds towards rebuilding our snack shack which suffered a devastating loss over the winter. An electrical fire broke out in one of our walls, the smoke from it covered everything in corrosive soot which in turn destroyed everything inside the building. Our board and volunteers were forced to gut the entire snack shack as it was a total loss. We are now working on rebuilding so that we can open it again next season. More details about the fire and our plans to rebuild will be posted on our social media (Facebook) and website as we start taking steps towards rebuilding.
