I am lacing up my sneakers in a few weeks for the Bennett Elementary Walk-a-thon. It is our main fundraiser for the PTA so they can help fund new technology for the library and sound systems for the gym and outdoor events.

I would appreciate it (and so would my 500 schoolmates) if you could help support me.

About this fundraiser:

The Bennett Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is sponsoring their third annual walk-a-thon, a healthy initiative fundraiser, on Wednesday, September 25.

This event shows students healthy ways to build community and fund raise. The 532 kindergarten through fifth grade students will walk, jog, or run around the course.

The goal is to raise $15,000 in pledges to purchase new technology for the library, a new sound system for the gym, and a portable sound system for our outdoor events.
