Dear Friends and Family,

Hi! My name is Landon, and I play the baritone saxophone in the Brunswick marching band. Band has become one of the most important parts of my life—whether we’re performing on the field, practicing together, or just hanging out, I absolutely love every second of it.

This year, I’m participating in 99 pledges to help raise funds for new instruments, uniforms, travel, and everything else that keeps our program running strong. Your support would mean the world to me and my fellow bandmates. Any donation, big or small, helps us keep the music alive and marching forward!

About this fundraiser:

Every year the Brunswick Band Parents Organization (BBPO) does a fundraising campaign to help support the Brunswick Band program. In order to keep the standard of excellence for our band program, it is necessary to supplement the budget provided by the school. These funds help pay for things like bringing in instructors, buying/maintaining instruments and equipment, awards, competitions fees, student leadership training, purchasing music and ensuring every student who wants to participate in band related activities is able to do so regardless of financial standing.

Our Band Program is dedicated to giving students the opportunity to grow musically, socially, and academically. Through musical performance, students learn how to perform and appreciate music of a variety of styles and levels of difficulty. Through group involvement, students learn how to work together to achieve common goals and achievements that are more personal and develop self-discipline. Through the study of harmony, scales, rhythms, etc., students develop skills that will allow them to truly understand and appreciate the foundation of music as well as the aesthetics.

We could not engage middle school and high school students in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support. Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support are both truly appreciated.
