Help spread the word
Dear Friends and Family,
I am writing to you today to request support of our Marching Band/Color Guard Program, which has brought joy and inspiration to myself and our surrounding community.
Cal High's Marching Band/Color Guard is not just a group of students performing, it is a close-knit family that shares a passion for music and a commitment to excellence. We dedicate countless hours to practice, performances, and competitions to showcase our talents and represent our school with pride. We understand the value of hard work, teamwork, and discipline, and these lessons extend beyond the music room into our academic and personal lives.
Unfortunately, maintaining a marching program requires substantial financial resources. We are reaching out to family and friends in our community, who understand the importance of arts education and its impact on the lives of young people.
Thank you for your support!
About this fundraiser:
Cal High's Marching Band & Color Guard is the only Marching Ensemble in San Ramon and the largest inclusive program at Cal High. With over 70 members, the Marching Grizzlies depend on financial support from outside its membership. It is the goal of the Instrumental Music Boosters to help make the dream of marching in the ensemble a reality for each and every member. We can’t do this without the support of the communities of Cal High and beyond!
Our Marching Season is entirely funded by donations. Our district only covers our music directors' salary. You have the opportunity to play a vital role in sustaining and enhancing our program.
Together, let’s inspire and empower the next generation of musicians through the transformative power of music.
Your donations will help pay for:
- Transportation: Bus and Truck Rental
- Competition Entry Fees
- Coaches & Clinicians
- Sheet Music & Arrangements
- Choreography
- Drill Design
- Uniform Expenses
- Instrumental Maintenance
- Much, much more...
