This year my company, California Surveying & Drafting Supply (CSDS) is participating in the Around the World in 80 Hours Charity Fundraiser to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, and I would love your support!

Who is Ronald McDonald House and what do they do? Why is this such an important cause to me and CSDS? Simply put, RMH provides housing, support and related services to families with ill or injured children that require extra or extended care in hospitals or other care facilities.

I plan on swimming, cycling and running a total of 100 miles (combined) between September 17th and 20th - your total pledge will be based on this distance, either a flat donation or per mile. We're very passionate about this cause and I will be personally donating $250 in addition to putting in the miles for your support and pledges.

About this fundraiser:

We need your assistance to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities! We would like to put together teams of friends, family, customers, and suppliers or whoever is willing to join in to help us collectively bike, walk, run, scooter, skate, horseback, row (or any other form of non-motorized transportation) “Around the world in 80 hours”. We will begin accumulating mileage at 9 a.m on September 17th and finish by 5 p.m. on September 20, 2023. In order to raise funds, we will ask all participants to collect pledges to sponsor you for your mileage. At the end of the day on September 20th, we will hold a BBQ for all the participants in the cities where we have offices. The team that raises the largest value of pledges will receive a $10,000 Travel Voucher.
