Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers next month and running my best for our 3rd annual Fun Run at the River.

We are raising money to replace the outdated sound system in our gymnasium and musical stage area. This system is just shy of 30 years old! This upgrade will benefit all of our students for many years and generations to come!

I would appreciate it (and so would my nearly 600 schoolmates) if you could help support me.

Fundraiser opens Friday, April 4th.

The Deep River Elementary Student Council is hosting its 3rd Annual “Fun Run at the River” beginning April 4th and we would love your support!

This is our main fundraiser of the year and we are raising money to replace the nearly 30 year old outdated sound system in our gymnasium and musical stage area. This upgrade will benefit all of our students for years to come!

Our goal is $30,000!

This year, our Fun Run is dedicated to our dear colleague Mr. Jorge Zuluaga who was severely injured in a car accident on his way to school earlier this year. Mr. Jorge, as the students lovingly call him, has been a huge supporter of our Fun Runs since the start. Ten dollars from every adult t-shirt sold will be designated to Mr. Jorge and his recovery and rehabilitation expenses.

Reaching this goal will not be possible without our fabulous families, alumni, and community leaders!
