Hello!

I am putting on my suit and goggles and getting ready to swim my best for our annual Lap-a-Thon in November. This event raises money for my team, DEFY Dolphins.

I'm excited to be a part of this event. Would you be willing to support me? You can make a pledge per lap (1 lap = 2 pool lengths, or 1 round trip) or a flat donation.

About this fundraiser:

Our team's annual Lap-a-thon provides scholarships, team gear, and awards, and keeps our fees at some of the lowest rates in the state.

The event is taking place at both pools:
Monday, 11/14: Lawrence Family Fitness Center, Blue Hill
Tuesday, 11/15: James Russel Wiggins Center, Ellsworth

All members of our team are encouraged to participate!

While DEFY Swim is the big winner from this event, prizes are awarded to swimmers who raise the following amounts:
- $100: water bottle and goggles, or $10 to spend in the Team Store
- $200: water bottle, goggles, towel, or $25 to spend in the Team Store
- $300: water bottle, goggles, towel, and backpack, or $50 to spend in the Team Store
- $500: water bottle, goggles, towel, and backpack, or $75 to spend in the Team Store
- $1000: water bottle, goggles, towel, and backpack, or $150 to spend in the Team Store
