Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers this month and walking with my class for the Dragon Dash! This event raises money for our PTO to support our school in ways like those listed below:

*Teacher Grants for everything from classroom library books to music instruments and anything in between!
*$1,000 New Teacher Fund - divided between new teachers annually for use in their new classroom!
*$50 Annual Allowance- per teacher at Wallace & JELA - to be used on classroom supplies!
*Conference Dinners, Birthday Recognition, Teacher Appreciation Week Celebration, etc...!
*Special Events/Field Trip Opportunities
*5th Grade Celebration/Memory Book
*Funds For Students In Need- School Supplies, Scholastic Book Fair gift certificates, Theme Shirts, etc...
*Special projects- Picnic Tables, GaGa Ball, Outdoor Classroom/Garden Space, Library Shelving

About this fundraiser:

Wallace Elementary and Johnston Early Learning Academy are places where student learning thrives, and children feel good about the place they call their school! We believe that this is because of the incredible students that attend our school, the awesome staff who believe that relationships with students are key to optimal learning and the incredible support of our families! We could not engage in the wonderful opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support. Please know that no amount is too small.
