This scholarship is in honor of a champion educator in Park 6 at Eastside Elementary. Cheryl Turk-Barrus inspired the lives of many with her love for education and her deep connection with each of her students. Mrs. Barrus served Park 6 for 34 years. She will always be treasured, and her life remembered by her students and peer teachers. This on-going scholarship will be awarded annually in memory of this amazing educator.
