Dear Friends and Family,

I am participating in Edison's Spell-a-Thon to raise money to support Edison PTA. Please make a flat donation or make a pledge to donate a fixed amount for every word that I spell correctly on the Spell-a-thon Spelling quiz that I will take on November 14th! Your pledge will be converted to a donation based on how many words I spell correctly.

Also, please share my page's link with your friends and family via social media and email to help me raise more funds! I can win fun prizes for myself and if the school reaches its goal, we get to spray silly string on our Principal and PTA President!

About this fundraiser:

The Spell-a-Thon is an opportunity to encourage your child's daily study habits and support Edison PTA. You can make a flat donation or pledge to donate a fixed amount for every word that your child spells correctly on the Spell-a-thon Spelling quiz that will be administered November 14th!

Students can win prizes as they gather donations and pledges!
If the school reaches its fundraising goal, Mrs. Okazaki, Mrs. Baumhart and other volunteers and teachers will be sprayed with silly string by the top fundraisers!

Edison PTA is a 100% volunteer-run organization, and we depend on your donations to support the learning opportunities and fun student activities that we sponsor throughout the year! Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support are truly appreciated.

How it works:
1. Search for your child's personal fundraising page using the search tool. (Search by teacher or child's first name.)
2. Make a flat $ donation or a per word pledge.
3. Share your child's personal page link with your friends and family via social media and email to help you child solicit other donations.
4. Encourage your child to study their spelling list (available to download from the Edison website - edison.tusd.org).
5. On November 14th, students will take a spelling quiz. Any per word pledges will be converted to donations based on the number they answer correctly on their quiz.
