El Refugio Family Resource Center enriches lives of everyone in our community with FREE learning opportunities and connections for language, citizenship, healthy living, legal information, community resources, and events like Festival Latino, International Culture Night and Community Summer Fest.
Can you imagine this organization has been a huge part of my life for TEN YEARS? Funds to launch El Refugio were given to Jonesboro UMC in 2013, and we kicked off language classes and Festival Latino in 2014. Now a 501c3 organization, El Refugio continues to make a tremendous difference in the lives of individuals, families and the community. The future is bright and the needs are constant -- and all of that requires funding.
We took a break from our annual campaign last year, and now I hope you'll join me in supporting El Refugio's mission with your donation. Thanks!!
About this fundraiser:
El Refugio Family Resource Center's mission is to promote opportunities for interaction between cultures that encourage positive relationships based on sharing knowledge, hopes and experiences. To foster individual growth in Lee County by identifying people’s needs and talents, and finding the resources to develop them. We help residents of Lee County live and grow together through programs for language learning, family engagement, child enrichment and cross-cultural events and activities. We could not engage in this work without your financial support. Please know that no amount is too small and that your ongoing support is truly appreciated.
La misión de El Refugio es promover oportunidades para la interacción entre las culturas para fortalecer relaciones positivas basadas en el intercambio de conocimientos, esperanzas y experiencias. Fomentar el desarrollo de las personas en el Condado de Lee identificando sus talentos y necesidades, y encontrando los recursos para hacerlo. Ayudamos a los residentes del condado de Lee a vivir y crecer juntos con programas para el aprendizaje de idiomas, participación familiar, enriquecimiento infantil y eventos y actividades interculturales.
