Help spread the word
Dear Friends and Family,
The FCHS Band is raising money for much needed equipment for Award Winning Tigers.
Thank you in advance for your support
About this fundraiser:
The Fayette County HS Marching Tigers have a long-standing tradition of excellence in performance and competition. Alumni members have received millions of dollars in music and academic scholarships and have become college drum majors, section leaders, band directors, and elementary music teachers as well as positive contributors to society in various other professions.
The pandemic's effect on the performing arts is widespread. However, the Fayette Band has shown an exponential increase in the number of students who want to experience everything that band participation has to offer: discipline, leadership and time-management skills, commitment, responsibility, self-confidence, and a sense of accomplishment.
The Fayette County Marching Tigers have experienced a tremendous growth of 66% since the Fall of 2020. We also have an aging inventory as we are the oldest school in Fayette county. Because of this, we are in need of several immediate items to maintain the band's 55-year tradition of excellence for this upcoming marching season.
20 uniform jackets, pants, hip drops, and gauntlets x $350 each = $7000
100 flag poles x $12 each = $1200
50 practice flags x $8 each = $400
5 color guard sabres x $190 each = $950
1 portable speaker x $350 each = $350
4 snare drum stands x $215 each = $860
6 bass drum stands x $240 each = $1440
6 bass drum mallet holders/rim protectors x $90 each = $540
2 electronic pianos/synthesizers x $1500 each = $3000
5 percussion carts x $800 each = $4000
10 condenser microphones x $150 each = $1500
1 electronic trigger pad x $950 each = $950
1 portable battery with roller cart x $2800 each = $2800
1 tractor-trailer wrap x $6000 each = $6000
Our goal of $31,000 will help purchase all of the listed items needed for this summer and fall. Your support is greatly appreciated! Go Tigers!
