About this fundraiser:

FRC 8592 Newton Squared is a community robotics team that is part of Nova Labs Robotics, a youth robotics program of Nova Labs, a community makerspace in Northern Virginia.

FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an international robotics competition for high school students. Each year, students are given new challenges to build a fully functional robot in six weeks for the first competition, and to make improvements throughout subsequent competitions. There are almost 3,500 FRC teams worldwide in almost 30 countries. The top 600 teams are invited to compete at the World Championship.

We are a young but highly competitive team formed in 2020. We qualified for the the Chesapeake District Championship for the last 4 years and we were invited to attend the World Championship the past 3 consecutive years. For the 2025 season, we finished the regular season top 2 in Virginia, top 3 in our district, and top 6% both in the USA and worldwide.
