The Salmon Creek Harmony ARK (shARK) is the Education Foundation on campus—similar to a PTA—serving Harmony Elementary, Salmon Creek Middle School, and the greater Occidental community. We are a small, close-knit school community where families, staff, and students truly know and support one another.

shARK provides financial and volunteer support that expands and enhances the rich, hands-on learning experiences that make our school so special. Over the years, shARK has helped fund both playground structures, grow our school garden program, provide after-school enrichment classes, subsidize field trips, and support countless school-wide celebrations and events.

We are excited to be hosting our second annual Move-A-Thon & Color Run! Last years was a smashing success! The Move-A-Thon & Color Run will be held on November 13th during school hours.

This year’s Move-A-Thon & Color Run supports two important goals:
TK–5th grade students will be raising funds that go directly into our general school fund, supporting programs and opportunities that benefit all elementary students.
6th–8th grade students will be raising funds to help offset the cost of their 8th grade trip—a meaningful culminating experience for our middle schoolers.

Every dollar raised stays right here in our school community and directly benefits our students.

Our programs and enhancements are made possible exclusively through parent volunteers and financial contributions from our community. There is no large outside funding source—just us, working together.

No donation is too small. When you support this fundraiser, you are investing in the daily experiences, opportunities, and memories of our students.

Thank you for being part of what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow.
