Dear Friends and Family,

I'm lacing up my sneakers next month and running my best at my school's Color Run. I'm excited to be a part of it because this event raises money for me and my classmates to continue to be enriched with Art, Drama, Music and other programs that are essential to our learning. 8th grade has been a fun year for me. I especially liked performing with my friends in our drama production of Legally Blonde.

About this fundraiser:

We are excited to announce that the annual Kennedy Color Run is taking place on Friday, May 9th. Not only is this a fun event for our students, staff, and volunteers, it's also our PTO’s single-largest fundraising event of the year!

Kennedy Middle School is a school where our students grow and thrive. This is because of the talented and hardworking students who attend our school, our amazing teachers and staff who believe that relationships with students are key to support optimal learning and, more importantly, the incredible support of our families and community.

To reach our fundraising goal of $50,000, we are asking you, our beloved students and families, to please solicit donations from your friends, family and neighbors to help support the amazing programs that Kennedy offers, detailed below. Our students are worth your investment and none of these programs are possible without your continued support.

Students will earn 1 raffle ticket for every $25 raised online to their personal fundraising pages through Sunday, May 4th (this is the only way to earn raffle tickets). Students can enter these tickets into the prize raffle of their choice at the Color Run on May 9th.

Donations will continue to be collected through Sunday, May 11th, but only those collected through May 5th will count toward raffle tickets to give us enough time to produce them in time for the Color Run event.

The student who raises the most by the end of our fundraiser on Sunday, May 11th will win a $100 Amazon gift card; the next highest will win a $50 Amazon gift card. The winners of these prizes will be announced the week following the event and prizes will be delivered to the office.

–Every student who raises at least $250 will get In-N-Out delivered to the school for lunch.

We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do at KMS without your financial support. Every dollar collected puts us one step closer to our fundraising goal, no amount is too small and your support is truly appreciated!

El estudiante que recaude la mayor cantidad de dinero al final de nuestra campaña, el domingo 11 de Mayo, ganará una tarjeta de regalo de Amazon de $100; el segundo lugar ganará una tarjeta de regalo de Amazon de $50.
