Help spread the word
Dear Friends and Family,
I am lacing up my sneakers next month and running my best at Linda Vista's 3rd Annual Roy Brasher Memorial Jogathon. My goal is to raise $500 of our $40,000 scholarship target to make our whole-child, Christ-centered education available to all.
Would you be willing to willing to support me and my school?
Thanks in advance for your support!
About this fundraiser:
Today, a high quality, Christ-centered education is more important than ever before, and it is Linda Vista's commitment to make our hands-on, whole-child Christian education available to all. Would you be willing to partner with us by sponsoring a child in our 3rd Annual Roy Brasher Memorial Jogathon?
Linda Vista Adventist Elementary School has been making an impact on our community for sixty years. Decades before "Social-Emotional Learning" became a catchphrase, Adventist Education has been focused on educating all aspects of our children. We seek opportunities for children to connect classroom learning to real life skills and cultivate a sense of exploration and excitement about learning and being at school. Our students leave Linda Vista with a foundation of faith and the skills to lead the world according to the principles of Christ. Visit lvaes.org to learn more about our dual-language immersion kindergarten program, K-8 performing arts, award-winning robotics, STEAM lab, agriculture program, epic educational trips, our new nature-inspired playground, and more.
Over fifteen years ago, Roy Brasher, a local real estate agent and advocate for Adventist Education, began sponsoring annual jog-a-thons to raise money for scholarships at Linda Vista Adventist Elementary, Conejo Adventist Elementary, and Newbury Park Adventist Academy. Mr. Brasher passed away in 2021, and it is in his honor that we hold our Annual Roy Brasher Memorial Jog-a-thon to continue his legacy of making it financially possible for every family to attend Linda Vista Adventist Elementary School.
