Dear Friends and Family,

I am practicing my swing in preparation for the SMOKE Hit-A-Thon. This event raises money for my teammates and I to continue to be supported with gear, additional coaching, and tournament fees.

Your donation will help provide the girls helmets, uniforms, gear bags, tournament fees, batting cage time, as well as having a Cal Berkeley Alumni and USA team member Valerie Arioto hold a training session with them.

Families are welcome to join in on the fun, for $2 a ball;mom,dad, uncle,brother, grandpa or whoever can join in the hitting contest as well.

I would appreciate it (and so would my 12 teammates) if you could help support me.

About this fundraiser:

Our summer travel softball team the SMOKE is trying to raise money for a successful season.

Your donation will help provide the girls helmets, uniforms, gear bags, tournament fees, batting cage time, as well as having a Cal Berkeley Alumni and USA team member Valerie Arioto hold a training session with them.

There will be prizes for most balls hit and the 3 furthest balls hit, and 3rd 2nd 1st base challenge at same at bat. There will also be a special prize for the girl that raises the most money.

The girls greatly appreciate any help they receive to make their summer a success.
