Dear Friends and Family,

I am tuning up my instrument and learning my music to give my best at our J.W. Mitchell Marching Mustangs Rehearse-a-thon! This event raises money for me and my classmates to continue to be able to participate in marching competitions, as well as enable our band to have the funds to purchase new instruments, pay for maintaining our current instruments, and keep our band looking sharp in freshly dry-cleaned uniforms.

My personal goal is to secure 10 donors at $25 each! I would be beyond grateful (and so would my 200 fellow band members) if you would help by being one of my donors. You can pledge per minute or do a flat donation.

About this fundraiser:

J.W. Mitchell High School's Marching Band is fundraising in order to continue to be able to offer students an opportunity to be a part of an incredible organization that prides itself on excellence! Band requires a high level of commitment and discipline from all members in order to make a few sheets of music jump off the page into a memorable marching or concert performance. Being part of the Marching Mustangs affords the students the ability to learn the values of teamwork, individual and group responsibility, competition, diversity, and a sense of culture and community. These activities provide a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned in the classroom by providing students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context, and thus considered to be part of a well-rounded education.

Mitchell Marching Mustangs provides students an amazing staff who believe that relationships with students are key to optimal learning and more importantly treasure the unwavering support of our families. We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support. Please know that no amount is too small.
