Dear loved ones,

Yasear is now settled at Nea Community Learning Center. Nea is a charter school in Alameda that's special because it's a small diverse school with room for him to grow through 8th grade. Teaching is done through projects and hands-on learning, there's daily science and field trips throughout the year. Also, there's a value for art, movement, and PE as these classes are taught by dedicated teachers. We also appreciate the character development through West African principles.

Nea will have a Walkathon this Wednesday and we hope you can support both Yasear and Yamari (through separate donation links). Your donation goes directly to programs that Yasear and Yamari will benefit from. Specifically, Yasear's 3rd-grade class needs a new science kit so the hands-on learning Yasear engages with best can continue.

Any donation amount large or small helps the school and the boys receive recognition for getting the most people to contribute.
