NBBC Shore Path Shuffle

Dear Friends and Family,

I’m so excited to be part of the first-ever NBBC Shore Path Shuffle!

This summer I’m walking around Lake Geneva to help raise money for the Norman B. Barr Camp Children’s Fund which supports adults with disabilities as well as marginalized children.

The extra dollars we raise will help our campers in big ways: getting them to and from camp, taking them on fun day trips, and offering scholarships when needed.

I’m looking for sponsors to help me hit my fundraising goal. Would you be willing to pledge an amount per lap or make a flat donation?

About this fundraiser:

Join us in supporting Norman B Barr Camp’s Children’s Fund—a vital initiative dedicated to enriching our camper program. Your contributions will help cover transportation costs for our campers and counselors, including travel to and from camp, and fees for special activities such as therapeutic horseback riding for campers with disabilities. We also aim to provide scholarships for campers in need and for returning counselors. We’ve got big dreams, and with your help, we can make them a reality!

Participants are walking the 21-mile path around Geneva Lake this summer, all at once or in sections. We are encouraging all to collect pledges to support their journey. Online registration is available and participants will receive t-shirts, prizes, and a sense of accomplishment!

Walking began on Saturday, July 5th with a group walk to Williams Bay and back, followed by a delicious pancake breakfast at camp. We had 25 walkers! We’ll wrap up the summer of walking on August 30th with another group walk to Fontana and back. We will then celebrate with an ice cream party at our refectory.
