Dear Oxford Friends and Family,

I am participating in Oxford's 2024 Read-a-thon from November 18 to December 15, 2024. This event is one of Oxford's major fundraisers for the school year. The funds raised will be used to support art, math and literary coaches, classroom aids, and other programs at Oxford.

I'll be reading books and logging my reading hours for two weeks from November 18 to November 29, 2024 for this Read-a-thon. That's right. Is there a book that you would recommend? Maybe you can read with me?

The donation link on this website will be open through December 15, 2024. If you make any donation pledges based on my total reading hours, your donation will be charged after I turn in my reading time in early December.

About this fundraiser:

Oxford Elementary is committed to making sure that all of our students thrive and flourish. Since we are the smallest elementary school in Berkeley Unified School District, with about 250 students from K-5, we need the community's support and monetary help to expand and enrich the learning opportunities essential to the well-rounded development and growth of our students.

The Read-a-thon fundraiser is open from November 18 through December 15, 2024!

Your donation can be made in two ways: (1) a flat donation, which will be charged immediately when you make the donation on this website; or (2) a donation by the number of reading hours that your sponsoring child has recorded between November 18-29, 2024. If you make a donation pledge based on the number of reading hours, you will be charged after your sponsoring child's reading tracker has been turned in, and your credit card will be charged sometimes in the first week of December 2024.

Please know that no amount is too small. Your support is truly appreciated. All donations are tax-deductible!
