Help spread the word

Dear Friends & Family,
This year, I’m proud to be participating in something truly special—Project: Kindness—a school-wide event where students like me create and lead community service projects that help others.
From making care kits for people in need to helping clean up our neighborhoods, we’re working hard to make a difference right here in our community. But we can’t do it alone—we need your support!
I’m reaching out to ask if you would consider making a donation to Project: Kindness. Your contribution will help:
Provide materials and supplies for student-led service projects,
fund our Kindness Celebration Day to honor everyone’s hard work, and support the amazing programs our PTO provides all year long.
Every dollar helps, and every act of kindness matters. Whether it’s $5, $20, or more, your donation makes it possible for students like me to give back—and learn how powerful kindness can be.
Thank you!
About this fundraiser:
Our mission is to inspire students to make a positive difference by taking part in a variety of projects that help others and brighten our community. We encourage teamwork, creativity, and a spirit of kindness, giving students the chance to see how their actions—big or small—can create lasting change. Through these experiences, we hope to spark a lifelong habit of helping, connecting, and making the world a little better every day.
🎉 Project: Impact” – Raising Funds. Spreading Kindness!
At Coy, we believe in the power of students to make a difference. Project: Kindness is a unique fundraiser where students take the lead in planning and participating in meaningful community service projects that benefit our school, neighborhoods, and beyond.
From making cards to brighten someone’s day, mowing a neighbor’s lawn, babysitting for free to help a busy parent, organizing food drives, creating care kits or cleaning up local parks, our students are finding creative ways to spread kindness — and we can’t wait to celebrate everything they'll do!
💰 How It Works:
As part of Project: Impact, students will take part in the PTO fundraiser to support their work. They’ll learn real-world skills like how to write a grant request to the PTO, seek supply donations from family, friends, and community members, and track their progress.
All funds raised will go directly to:
-Providing materials and supplies for student-led projects
-Funding a school-wide celebration day to recognize student impact
-Strengthening future PTO programs and events
🏁Kick-Off Day:
This September, we’re launching Project: Impact with an inspiring Kick-Off Day! Students will hear from a dynamic professional speaker, explore our Impact Fair to discover ways they can create real change, enjoy exciting activities around the track, and map out their personal plan to make a difference this year.
🗓️Throughout the Year:
The impact doesn’t stop after Kick-Off Day—it’s just the beginning! Students will have the entire year to bring their ideas to life, with opportunities both during the school day and beyond. Along the way, we’ll introduce fun mini challenges to keep the momentum going and the energy high.
🎊 Celebration Day:
Once the projects are complete, we’ll host a fun-filled celebration day with games, music, treats, and recognition — a day to reflect, reward, and rejoice in the positive change created by our students and supporters.
🙌 Why It Matters:
Every dollar raised helps fuel student-led projects and supports our hardworking PTO in its mission to enrich the school experience for all. It’s giving with heart, learning through action, and celebrating as one school community!
