About my school:
PS172 is a local elementary school that serves over 450 students from Pre-k through fifth grade in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. PS172 is a Title 1 school, which means a significant portion of our school community is low-income. Our students are high academic achievers and rank 9th in Math and 7th in English among the city’s top 10 schools.
Why does the PTA fundraise?
· Host fun family friendly events, in school programming and activities for all students
· Fund affordable after-school enrichment clubs
· Purchase essential classroom supplies and equipment
· Expand opportunities for learning and academic enrichment
during the school day
Our PTA is non-profit (all donations are tax deductible!) and 100% volunteer operated.
On April 12th, our Dance-A-Thon will take place. My schoolmates and I will dance for TWO whole hours to raise money for our school. Any amount you are able to contribute would be so appreciated.

It's PS172's Annual Dance-A-Thon fundraiser!
Our goal is to dance for 2 hours to raise money for our school. Participants must pledge or raise a minimum of $20 (per family).
