Dear Friends and Family,

This year, P.S. 84 will be hosting it’s third annual walk-a-thon! Your donations will help make it possible for my fellow classmates and I to participate in FabLab, which is a program designed to offer students the opportunity to work on multimedia projects using photography, videography, music, and much more!

Our walk-a-thon will be held on Friday, October 11th, 2019. Each grade will have their turn throughout the day to walk the most laps in their allotted time. You may donate a certain amount per lap, or a “flat donation,” may be made as well.

About this fundraiser:

This is P.S. 84's third annual walk-a-thon! Last year's walk-a-thon was a HUGE success and wonderful opportunity for the students in the upper- and lower grades to to come together as one in an effort to show our P.S. 84 pride. A portion of the funds earned from this year's walk-a-thon will be used for the development and maintenance our new STEAM program.

As the gem of Williamsburg's Southside, P.S. 84 is a Title 1 school that houses a plethora of programs, which aim to develop lifelong learners, engaged community members, and respectful citizens. The school relies heavily on the incredible support of our families, local organizations, teachers, and students to foster a nurturing community, which allows ALL students to have a strong foundation for success.
