Dear Friends and Family,

Thanks for visiting the RAISE THE BAR fundraising page. Delaware Fit Factory and Pure Function CrossFit are excited to put our strength and fitness to the test to raise money for foster children through for Be The Village Marion.

On February 5th, 2022 both gyms will be testing their top end strength in the back squat, shoulder press, and deadlift. We are asking that each person participating in the weightlifting event to contribute to the fundraiser.

We hope to provide children and families with memberships to the Columbus Zoo this year. To do so we need to raise $4,000. Additional money raised will help cover transportation costs, meals, and other needs such as books and school supplies.

You can contribute in one of two ways: pledge to donate on a per pound basis or by making a simple flat donation. The per pound donation will be based on your athlete's combined squat, press, and deadlift.

About this fundraiser:

All donations raised for this event will benefit foster and kinship children in Marion county through Be the Village Marion.

Be the Village (BTV) is a coalition between Marion County Children’s Services and the Marion Community. Our hope is not only to connect with and support the foster families of Marion county, but also to engage the children’s birth families so that together we can break the cycle of abuse and neglect. We seek to provide a community where our children can thrive!
