Dear Friends and Family,

I am partnering with Adkins Elementary School to raise money for the RunforDylan Foundation. The RunforDylan Foundation is a local 501C3 non-profit that raises money to give students free heart screenings and to put AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) in local parks. Dylan passed away in a park his senior year at Guyer High School after his cross country team practice. There was no AED in the park or on site. Adkins Elementary is partnering with #runforDylan to raise money to put an AED Save Station in one of our Lantana parks.

I'm super excited to be a part of this event. I would appreciate it if you could help support me by making a donation. If I can raise $50 I even get a runforDylan t-shirt!

About this fundraiser:

We are a small local 501c3 non profit. In Aug 2020, our 17 year old son Dylan was attending a cross country practice for Guyer High School. It was his senior year. He finished practice and collapsed and passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest. Attempts to save Dylan using CPR were made, but no Automated External Defibrillator was on hand or close by. Since that day, as Dylan's parents, we have made it our mission to help other families not suffer the tragedy we did. We have paid for students to have heart screenings and we have put a stand alone save station in the park where Dylan passed. We have also donated $15,000 to the City of Denton to have another save station installed. We partnering with Adkins Elementary to raise money to put a save station in the park in Lantana. Please help us meet our goal!
