Dear Friends and Family,

I am building my reading skills as I continue to learn to read and read to learn! Better reading skills open up a whole new world of exploration, improve math skills, allows me to experiment in science, and learn more about our history!

I'm excited to be a part of it because the money raised helps support my overall learning experience by funding materials and programs that are NOT covered by our school budget, like author visits, science, and history enrichment programs, school plays, and so much more.

If you are kind enough to donate, the option for a "tip" helps support 99 Pledges which generously provides this tool to non-profits free of charge. The "tip" does NOT benefit the Scotland PTA.

About this fundraiser:

The 2025 Scotland PTA Read-A-Thon fundraises to help enrich the student experience and our community!

During this fundraising reading event, each student is asked to read more minutes daily in addition to his/her usual homework. This counts as a reading session which they log every day. Your sponsorship helps us motivate and reward students for their achievements while building a critical foundation as we learn to read and read to learn.

The PTA's mission is to enhance the education and lives of our students. The money raised by the Read-A-Thon supports our students’ overall learning experience by funding materials and programs that are NOT covered by our school budget.

As a bonus, HALF of everything 5th Grade students raise helps to subsidize end-of-year parties and celebrations!
