I am lacing up my skates next month and skating my best at the Jacksonville Junior Roller Derby skate-a-thon. This event raises money for me and my teammates to continue to train to be the best we can be and take some of the expense from our travel.

About this fundraiser:

The Duval Roller Dolls are Jacksonville’s first and only junior roller derby team.
Formed in January 2012, we have over 20 children age 8-17 learning to play and
referee the sport of roller derby. We see Junior Derby as the future of our sport and
strive to create a positive and safe environment for girls and boys to develop their
athletic abilities, build self-confidence, leadership skills and teamwork, and improve
their overall fitness.
The Duval Roller Dolls are in their second season, last year we had a WINNING season with only one loss. The Duval Roller Dolls work very hard at practice two to three times a week on endurance, strategy, and skating skills. We have a league full of dedicated, fun loving juniors.
